This is the premier photography and imaging event for professional photographers in the UK to visit, but this is also an event those wanting to become a wedding there is I managed to say hello and chat to many fellow wedding videographers and asian wedding photographers from Leicester, London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and even an Indian wedding photographer from Mumbai.

Perfect camera for asian wedding photography?



The busiest stands were camera suppliers Canon and Nikon, as both have announced the new cameras the Canon 5D Markiii and Nikon D800. This Asian Wedding Photographer shoots with Canon 5d Markii cameras so I was more interested in the new Canon 5D Mark3. Will the new camera help me with my asian wedding photography? I had a chance to handle Canon’s EOS 5D Mark III 22MP HD DSLR, and found 5DmkIII has better high ISO performance so there should be improvement in low-light performance, useful for wedding venues that may not have perfect lighting conditions, the improved focusing will help with my natural and reportage style of wedding photography. Not forgetting this camera can be used for short clips high quality asian wedding videography as well.

Asian Wedding Photographers review


All in all the 5D MK III is going to be a very capable camera for asian wedding photographers, and my feeling is Canon 5D mk3 prices will probably drop once the 5D mk2 stocks in the UK has been sold. Although the camera will be available from the end of March 2012, just like I have done previously I will wait for a few months in case there are any the initial issues to be ironed out. I am not aware of any but I just want to be certain that it’s is the perfect digital cameras for Asian Wedding Photography and this Asian Wedding Photographer.

I recently had the honor of photographing Bindya and Hemesh’s Vedic Indian wedding ceremony at the Hari Krishna Temple / Bhaktivedanta Manor, Watford. Bindya was recommended for my Asian wedding photography services by one of her cousin’s, Priya , whose wedding I had photographed a couple of years ago. It is a great honor when a bride is happy with her wedding photographs and albums that I became her recommended wedding photographer recommending my photography services to her cousin as well as her friends. It was great to meet up again with Priya and many of her family members.

Bindya and Hemesh had a gorgeous traditional Indian wedding at Bhaktivedanta Manor. The couple wanted the contemporary wedding photography – natural and contemporary to reflect the fun and happiness of their big day not too many staged photographs. I had a wonderful time photographing their wedding, to see a couple so much in love, going through all the wedding rituals and customs – the Ganesh Puja, Kanyadaan, Agni Puja, Mangalfera, Saptapdi etc – the wedding ceremony being conducted in Gujarati & Sanskrit and explained in English by the Indian Wedding Priest from the temple itself.

Last Friday, ten 6th form boys from QE Boys School in Barnet, North London, UK organised a charity event to raise money for the Sri Sathya Sai English Medium School, Kerala, India. As one of of these boys is my nephew he asked if I could be the Professional Events Photographer at their charity dinner / dance. I promised that if I was free from my other photography business I would set-up studio lighting for the formal events photography and also capture the general dinner dance event.

Here as just a few images from the evening and I really enjoyed my time being their London event photographer as they had put so much effort organising with the help of some of their teachers and parents. They also worked very hard on the night to make sure the event was successful at raising funds for the school in India.

Raghu found portrait photography portfolio website on google searching for a Portrait Studio in London and loved my style of portrait photography, so booked his photo shoot session. He had wanted these photographs to send to his family in India. Raghu has brought a couple of changes of outfits with him so we also ended up shooting some fashion style portraits – the shoot still only took an hour. It’s safe to say he was more than happy with his photoshoot and said he would recommend my services to his friends.

This event was so popular that there was traffic going back to the M25! And it was taking over an hour to get into the Oshwal Centre grounds. Not surprising as almost 10000 people took up the opportunity to attended the free event. There was something for the old and there young, fun fair for the young, DJ’s, Mehendi Artists, Wedding Photographers and Videographers, Asian Bridal Dresses, Vegan food, Handmade Wedding Invitation Cards, Dance Classes, Yoga classes, Food Stalls and the Kings Kitchen sponsored the stage for Dhol players, singers and dancers to entertain the attendees. It was a fun and eventful day out for all who attended – some meeting friend after a long time.

Vijaybhai, the onsite Indian Priest at the Jain Oshwal Temple, was conducting prays inside the Derasar.

A great deal of effort was put in by the committee of Lions Club of Kingsbury and other helpers both in Kakamega and here in London to organise and promote this fund raising event. Some 275 tickets (venue limitation) were sold but demand for tickets was so huge that there was a long waiting list of people who wanted to attend.

Some former residence of Kakamaga had a chance to meet up after a long time and reminance the good old days, most of them now living in London so they didn’t have to travel too far to Harrow Leisure Centre but great credit has to be given to a former Kakamega resident and his wife who travelled all the way from Manchester, that’s how much commitment for this project.

Music was performed by Mukhtar Shah and his team of singers and musicians from Ahmedabad, India. As one of the best Indian singers today, the audience were entertained by Mukhtar Shah with his sweet and silky voice to the evergreen hit songs of the late Mukesh and Rafi.

A great night was had by all and with the help from donations and raffle prices , in excess of £20,000 was raised in one evening!! This will go a long way to build extra classes at the Kakamega Primary School for the free education they provide.
