Bride Wedding Photography Tips From Photographers – Part4

Continued from Part3

41. Examine that the contract guarantees you’ll be getting the wedding pro you book, which they cannot alter the photographer for anybody else at the last minute.

42. Inspect the “small print” or something to that effect in the agreement, detailing the number of hours of photography included on the day / the number of images you will receive of the day, etc.

43. Photographers will insist on being able to use the images for marketing purposes as part of their agreement – If you are not happy, discuss the options.

44. Go over copyright of the photos with your professional wedding photographer. This can be a complicated issue, and one worth you need to be aware about.

45. You’ll just have to purchase the copyright from the professional photographers if you’ll be selling the images from your wedding day so say magazines or other vendors. If you believe you’ll wish to do this eventually, go over just how much it would cost to purchase the copyright from the professional photographer.

46. Make sure any copyright details are in the contract.

47. Don’t hesitate to request for modifications to the agreement if there’s something you’re not happy with.

48. Sign the contract, this is when you know you have the date confirmed

49. A booking fee will need to be paid to the photographer. This differs from photographers to London wedding photographers, typically 25% – 50% of the overall expense.

50. Request an invoice and receipt.
