Hare Krishna Temple Watford Wedding Of Khiloni & Amish

31/05/2017 by admin

Weddings or ‘vivahas’ are considered to one of most important religious rituals so a Hare Krishna Temple Watford Wedding  just as Khiloni & Amish marriage recent May 2017 ceremony, at the home of Lord Krishna, is such a auspicious occasion. Last year they chose and booked the stunning Bhaktivedanta Manor, Hare Krishna Temple, in Watford as for their Hindu wedding in May 2017 , as this is a very popular wedding venue for couples.

Khiloni had been on google searching for photographers near the temple she found my website and portfolio. She spoke to her fiance Amish who called me to to discuss photography for their wedding day, if I had photographed any weddings at the temple, how the wedding schedule at the temple works, what they wanted, my prices to photograph a wedding at the Watford Mandir.  It was then they arranged to meet me in person to see my wedding albums and sample of the weddings I had photographed at the Hare Krishna Temple. After a week of seeing other Indian wedding photographers in London, they came back and booked me to shoot their wedding day pictures.

The Popularity of Hare Krishna Temple Watford Wedding With Bride & Grooms Getting Married

In London and the surrounding area, there are not too many temples where Indian weddings can take place due to the large number of guests. However the Hare Krishna Temple (also known as Bhaktivedanta Manor) is different. Set in the Hertfordshire country side near Watford, the temple is set in beautiful grounds, and what can one say about the temple itself. Magnificent, suburb, enchanting, and above all reglious. Not too many couples in England can say their wedding was in a temple and by one of their own Hare Krishna Temple Priests. Another great benefit is that the traditional Vedic ceremony and your civil wedding can be arranged for and be celebrated here too.

Hare Krishna Temple Watford

03/05/2017 by admin

Hare Krishna Temple also known as Bhaktivedanta Manor is an oasis of spiritual inspiration in the hertfordshire countryside,  just north of London.  Bhaktivedanta Manor has become one of the most popular Krishna temples in Europe for devotees as well as becoming one of the most sought after for wedding venues.

Although I have done lots of wedding photography assignments at this venue, Khiloni & Amish has booked me as their Indian Wedding Photographer for this friday’s ceremony. As the temple is near me I promised I would visit, say my prayers and have a walk around the beautiful grounds and garden to create some awesome wedding photos for them.

Bijal & Avnish’s Destination Indian Wedding at Barcelo Maya Palace Mexico

08/06/2012 by admin

Destination Indian Wedding Photography

Just had an amazing time at Bijal and Avnish’s Indian (hindu) wedding at Barcelo Maya Palace in the Riviera Maya, Mexico. They had the best group of family and friends attending their Indian Wedding Ceremony for their destination hindu wedding. Over 150 family and friends from all over the world – Calgary, Ottowa, Vancover, Nairobi, New York, Singapore, Mumbai, New Delhi, Rajkot, Banglore, London, Singapore to name just a few places This really made it a special day for the couple as so many people had taken the time and effort to attend this fabulous wedding at Barcelo Maya Palace.

Credit must also be given to both Bijal and Anvish’s families in organising all the other event associated with indian weddings – the meet the families evening, mendhi party, the mandau and pithi ceremony, the fantastic indian destination wedding and the reception. This is not easy to do when organising an Indian Wedding thousands of miles away from your home city of Calgary. Family and friends had also helped by preparing homemade Indian food and sweets to make this a special occasion to remember.

Outdoor Hindu Wedding Ceremony

The morning of the wedding was a beautiful sunny day, wedding coordinator with the help of the hotel staff has decorated the gazebo with drapes and indian ornaments to set up the Mandap. The unsual mandap setup really looked stunning with the beautiful white sandy beach and deep blue sea as the backdrop for the outdoor hindu wedding ceremony, exactly what Bijal and Anvish had imagined. One thing that cannot be planned is the weather, even in Mexico. Minutes before the wedding was due to begin it started to rain and must have done so for about an hour, however with the blessing of god it eventually stopped. The hotel staff were excellent and quickly reset the guest sitting and sun come out and the wedding could start – just slightly delayed. A little rain on your wedding day is supposed to be good luck according to Indian tradition!

The indian priest who had travelled from Calgery conducted a beautiful ceremony, performing the indian wedding ceremony rituals according to the customs which the couple will not doubt remember.

Below are some of the natural wedding photos taken, the lighting couldn’t have been more perfect during the ceremony.

All together, a perfect Indian wedding day!

Wedding Photos at Willesden Mandir – Punita & Manj

29/05/2010 by admin

Punita & Manj’s wedding took place at the fabulous Shree Swaminarayan Mandir, Willesden in north London. Willesden Mindir is a great place for indian wedding photography, as you can see from the wedding photos below that were taken during the hindu ceremony and outside the Willesden Temple.

We had a lot of ceremonies on the day – Punita’s Mandavo and Pitti early in morning, followed by the Civil Wedding and hindu wedding ceremony. Friends and family from all over the world – Dubai, India, and Kenya – had come to celebrate this special day with Punita & Manj. Thank you for choosing me as your wedding photographer.
